Celebrating 60 years of the Green Belt

You are invited to join CPRE North Worcestershire and Barnt Green Waters on Saturday 3rd October to mark the 60th anniversary of the Green Belt, which has been effective in combating urban sprawl. With a Green Belt review expected soon it is timely to recognise its importance.

Please join us at 2pm for a guided walk from Lickey Hills Country Park Visitors Centre1. This will be followed by afternoon tea2 at Barnt Green Sailing Club3 with a talk at 4pm by CPRE's National Policy and Campaigns officer Neil Sinden, who is soon to retire and relocate to the area.
