CPRE
talks sense about the countryside and its future
We give the
countryside a voice - pressing the Government and Parliament to support the
countryside by safeguarding precious Green Belt, promoting urban renewal and
restricting development on greenfield sites, protecting country lanes, habitats and much more.
We campaign at National, Regional and local level, areas
in which CPRE is widely respected for the quality of its ideas and the depth of
its research.
CPRE amongst the UK's older conservation organisation will
continue to "make a difference'', to see that any
changes in the countryside will be change for the better
not the worse The countryside is changing more rapidly than ever, complacency
is not an option for any of us, we have to learn to love our countryside, its
landscapes and our environment more wisely, or lose them.
