The Campaign to Protect Rural
England (CPRE) exists to protect the beauty, tranquility and diversity of rural
England by encouraging the sustainable use of land and other natural resources
in town and country.We promote positive solutions for the long term future of
the countryside and to ensure change values its natural and built environment.
Our Patron is Her Majesty the Queen, our President is Sir Max Hastings. We have
approximately 60,000 supporters, a branch in every county, nine regional
groups, over 200 local groups and a national office in central London.
Formed in 1926, CPRE is a powerful
combination of effective local control and strong national campaigning.

The CPRE Worcestershire Branch,
a separate charity, exists to promote the aims and objectives of the national
organisation within this beautiful county. Our President is Lord
Sandys. We have approximately 600 supporters and operate through five district
groups: Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch,
Wychavon and Wyre Forest. CPRE Worcestershire branch is a
registered charity number: 201606. Membership is open to all either
directly through national office or via the county branch .
